Summer Programs

Online Campus Program Courses (For Eligible FCPS and Non-FCPS Students)

New Credit Courses
Dates and Times
Monday, July 6 to Tuesday, August 4

Eligible FCPS high school students may take a school-based credit recovery course and one online campus course. However, students and parents should understand that online courses are extremely rigorous and registration for a school-based course and an online course is not recommended. If a student elects to take a school-based credit recovery course and an online course, the student must pay tuition for both courses. Tuition reduction is available for only one course.

Online courses for new or first time credit are open to rising and current high school students who meet prerequisites and technical requirments. Visit the Online Campus at: www.fcps.edu/DIS/onlinecampus for requirements and prerequisite information. These courses provide students with location and time flexibility for completing coursework. Students need to dedicate 35 hours each week to complete the course. Students cannot miss a week due to camps or vacations. Students must take their Midterm, Final, and SOL tests on the dates below. Once you have registered for an online course, go to the Online Campus website and read the Welcome Letter for further instructions.

FCPS special education students who intend to enroll in an online new course must contact their special education department chair (prior to the start of the summer session) and arrange for an IEP addendum to add any necessary SOL accommodations.
