Schools receiving Title I funds under the No Child Left Behind law, that do not make Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) for two years in a row in the same category, must offer Supplemental Educational Services (SES) and then subsequently, Public School Choice (PSC). In Fairfax County Public Schools there are 32 elementary schools receiving Title I funds.

The chart below shows:

  1. the number of students who are eligible to participate in SES and PSC and;

  2. the actual number of students who participated in the SES and PSC programs

SES Vendors

All vendors serve both Special Education students and ESOL students except for the following:

  • Achieve Success Tutoring, Babbage Net School, Dynamic Learning Corps, 1-on-1 Bear Paw Tutors, Kinetic Potential Scholars, Mainstream Development Educational Group, Reach for Tomorrow, and The Enrichment Center will not serve Special Education students. 

  • It Takes A Team, Professional Tutoring Services, and Scholastic Educational Services will not serve ESOL students. 

  • VA Learning Unlimited will not serve Special Education students nor ESOL students.
