PD360- Professional Development on Demand provides access to high quality staff development materials via the Internet. PD360 makes it possible to provide differentiated staff development while supporting a variety of learning styles and instructional approaches.
What is PD360?
- An online professional development tool useful in planning staff development to address content and teaching strategies
- A series of digitized searchable and indexed videos of teaching best practice classroom examples
- Content topics are regularly updated and enriched
- Many videos introduced by well-known experts such as Rick & Rebecca DuFour, Joellen Killion, Stephen Barkley, Spencer & Laurie Kagan, Jay McTighe, Rich Stiggins and many more
- Participants answer reflection and follow-up questions designed to stimulate thinking about classroom application
- Reporting capability to show the most-viewed topics and learning segments
Project Background
During the 2007-2008 school year, many schools and departments experimented with PD360 through a free trial account and were eager to purchase site licenses for their staff development initiatives.
