Developed particularly to help with reading comprehension in social studies, this site can be used for any content area. Suggestions for writing, note-taking (organizing) and discussions are also given.

The site houses a collection of student-friendly material: homework help, references, educational puzzles and games, and tools for creating activities. There is a parent link that includes information on education-related topics.

National History Day

The site provides information about National History Day, an academic enrichment program that helps students learn about historical issues, ideas, people, and events.

History Matters

This site offers a variety of resources and teaching materials and first-person primary documents .
