Providing Support for Middle Schools

Develops curriculum and instructional materials for Language Arts, mathematics, science, social studies, G/T, and ESOL programs


Identifies and supports instructional technology applications in each curriculum area


Meets quarterly with department chairpersons, school-based technology specialists, reading teachers, and administrators


Provides updates on local, state, and national curriculum and instruction initiatives
Provides standard and optional course offerings descriptions


Develops and supports summer school and after-school remediation curricular program for students at risk of failure


Coordinates implementation of Student Accountability Plan


Facilitates cross-grade articulation meetings between elementary, middle, and high schools
