The FSIS library has an extensive collection of books and videos on parenting and family involvement in education that is available to schools, community agencies, and parent groups in Fairfax County.

Resources include the following:

    • Video collection of more than 1400 titles.
    • Parent handouts translated into eight languages
    • Books on child rearing, multicultural issues, leading parent groups, and building home-school partnerships.

Procedures for Library Visitors

Call 703-277-2630 to arrange a library orientation or to speak with a library assistant about available resources.

FCPS staff members, human services professionals, and leaders of parent groups in Northern Virginia may borrow materials for two weeks.
