Prerequisite: Architectural Drawing (8437) or Construction Technology (8515) or Electrical Construction (8533) or Heating and Air Conditioning (8503) or Accounting (632000) or Business Management (613532)

The construction management curriculum prepares students to critically address the present and evolving needs of the construction industry. To perform successfully in the construction industry, students must develop an understanding of the technical aspects of construction while applying useful construction management practices and tools to maintain control and provide informed, optimal decisions. Therefore, the program focuses on the understanding of construction technology, construction management, and production management processes.

Diploma Seal:  Students successfully completing this course may be eligible to earn a Career and Technical Education diploma seal.

Sequential Elective:  Students successfully completing this course in conjunction with another one credit course within the same program area will satisfy the sequential elective requirement for the standard or modified standard diploma.
