Marketing Program Overview

The marketing program provides general and specialized courses leading to various marketing career choices. Students may elect to earn additional credit and wages through participation in supervised on-the-job training related to their classroom instruction. Specialized training includes career preparation in such areas as advertising, entrepreneurship, fashion marketing, food marketing, financial services marketing, hotel management, media marketing, mall marketing, electronic commerce, and sales promotion. Immediate employment opportunities or education beyond high school graduation are options in this broad career field. Students may receive college credit at the Northern Virginia Community College or Johnson & Wales University upon successful completion of a sequence of certain marketing courses.
