Career and Technical Education > Fine and Practical Arts Graduation Requirement |
This requirement is needed for the advanced (24-credit), standard (22-credit), and modified standard (20-credit) diplomas. A student will be awarded a fine/practical arts credit for completion of a minimum of one credit in one of the following:

a fine arts course that leads to students aesthetic education (visual arts, theatre arts, music, dance, creative writing, or speech),
-
a career and techical education course
-
a special education career and transition course
-
or a combination of professional technical studies courses that total one credit.
Courses do not have to be in the same program area to meet this requirement. For example, one semester of a business and information technology course and one semester of a family and consumer science course will meet the practical arts requirement.
Courses fulfilling the fine and practical arts requirement may be used to meet the sequential electives requirement.
