Career and Technical Education > CTE Advisory Committee (CTEAC)

Required by the Virginia Board of Education, this committee consists of representatives from business, industry and labor; School Board appointees, and a student representative.

Mission Statement: To provide advice to the school administration regarding career and technical education programs and initiatives with the aim of maintaining and improving the effectiveness of these courses in providing students with occupational knowledge and skills valuable in preparing them for the workforce, and to assist the schools in obtaining support and participation from the business community and the public.
