- Virginia Contractors Basic Business Course - those applying for an initial contractor's license in the Commonwealth of Virginia must first complete an 8-hour business class approved by the Virginia Board for Contractors.
Do you need to prepare to take your tradesman licensing exam? Taking one of our licensing exam prep will help give your the edge you need to pass.
If you already are licensed, you will need to complete continuing education courses every two years to renew your license. We offer continuing education for all trades. Click on the trade below to view the current schedule.
The Trade and Industry program is working in partnership with Academia de Construcción Residential (ACR) in providing building trades courses taught using both Spanish and English so that Hispanic students gain a solid understanding of their craft while achieving English language proficiency for on-the-job communication.
