Tuition Reduction
Tuition reduction is available for eligible students taking academic courses. Students must submit the registration form to their counselors who will obtain authorization and signature from the local school administrator.

Refund Information
How to Submit a Refund or Withdrawal Request
1. Complete the FCPS Summer School Request for Refund form.

2. Submit the request with the name of the student, FCPS ID, home address for the parent or guardian, phone number, course code, course title, signature, amount paid, and reason for request. The written request must be received two business days prior to the class start date.

3. Mail the completed form or written request to: Summer School Finance Office, Adult and Community Education (ACE ), 6815 Edsall Road, Springfield, VA 22151 or fax to 703-658-2748.

4. A $15 processing fee is assessed on all refund requests regardless of the percentage of tuition paid. No processing fee is assessed when a course is full or canceled due to insufficient enrollment or budget reductions.

5. Please allow several weeks for processing.

Important Refund Notes
Refund requests for general, enrichment, and special education courses must be received two business days prior to the beginning of the course. There is no tuition refund available for the TJHSST Admissions Test Preparation Summer Seminar.
