The Program
Technology and careers come alive as students experience new worlds while they rotate through three units: Artistic Expression, Technology Transfer, and Life Matrix. Courses within these units are either new or revised to offer returning students additional topics of interest.

Dates & Times
Monday, July 7 through Friday, July 18
9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Chantilly High School, Edison High School

Artistic Expression
Tech Adventure campers combine their artistic creativity with technology through multimedia applications in It’s a 3D World. Campers will also design their own virtual world in Design in Mind.

Technology Transfer
Future engineers discover the world of robotics while they design, assemble, and program their own creations in Robotic Engineer. Campers explore the world of science and technology related to criminal investigation in Focus on Forensics.

Life Matrix
With access to a commercial kitchen and under the supervision of a culinary chef, students learn food preparation skills as they create and enjoy healthy foods in Kids Chef. Campers will build a simulated reality using technology in Virtual Life.

Eligibility
Students currently enrolled in grades 5, 6, and 7 during the 2007-08 school year are eligible for Tech Adventure Camp. Fairfax County residents with a student enrolled in a private school and non-Fairfax County residents should read the Registration Requirements regarding registration procedures and requirements
