High School
Current non-FCPS middle and high school students who will enroll in FCPS during the regular school year following FCPS summer school attendance must provide:
• proof of immunizations
• tuberculosis screening (required for some students)
• proof of residency (deed or lease agreement is required)
• birth certificate
• any 2007-08 report card or transcript
• completed and signed “Affirmation” form SS-SE-219
Private School or non-Fairfax County Residents Enrolling in High School Programs, Tech Adventure or Institute for the Arts
Students of Fairfax County residents enrolled in private schools and students of non-Fairfax County residents enrolling only in a FCPS summer program must provide:
• proof of residency (deed or lease agreement is required) for Fairfax County residents
• birth certificate
• any 2007-08 report card or transcript
• proof of immunizations
• tuberculosis screening (required for some students)
• completed and signed “Affirmation” form SS-SE-219
Special education courses are open only to current FCPS students and new students who will attend FCPS during the regular school year. Non-FCPS students with disabilities who wish to enroll in a general education course must provide a copy of a current IE P to the Office of Special Education, Summer Services, Suite 3451, 8115 Gatehouse Road, Falls Church, VA 22042 to access classroom or test accommodations. Prospective FCPS students who speak a language other than or in addition to English in the home and who are not currently enrolled in FCPS, must enroll at one of the FCPS student registration centers prior to registering for summer school.
The following programs have special registration requirements: Driver Education, TJHSST Summer Technology Institute, and TJHSST Admissions Test Preparation Summer Seminar.
