This program prepares students enrolled in Virginia public schools to retake Virginia Standards of Learning End-of-Course tests and is highly recommended for students with scores in the 375 to 399 range.

Program Eligibility
Virginia public school students who have earned the standard unit of credit and who need to achieve a passing score on the related SOL test(s).

Testing Eligibility
SOL tests will be administered during the state mandated test dates. FCPS students in summer school SOL related face-to-face, online, and remediation courses may complete the associated SOL test upon completion of the summer school course.

Non-FCPS students in summer school SOL related face-to-face, online, and remediation courses may complete the associated SOL test if all of the following requirements are met:
• completion of the requirements for summer school registration
• completion of the summer school course
• enrollment in a Virginia public school

In addition, non-FCPS students with an IEP that includes test accommodations must send one copy of their current IEP to: Summer Services, 8115 Gatehouse Road, Suite 3451, Falls Church, VA 22042. They must provide a second copy to their classroom teacher on the first day of class to obtain necessary support.

Important Note: “Term Graduates” refers to seniors scheduled to graduate by August 31, 2008. Only Fairfax County Public Schools term graduates are eligible to participate in the Test-Only program.
