Get first-hand experience by using scripts from the ADP Playwriting course and by directing actors from the ADP Acting course. This course allows students with previous editing experience to have in-depth instruction in computer digital editing. Students MUST bring 2-3 hours of previously taped digital material to be used in class (mini DV tapes or digital hard drive.) Learn how to turn raw footage into a complete film. This is an editing class only; no footage will be filmed as part of the class.

Comedia Dell’Arte (new for 2008)

Students work together to create their own original piece through energetic physical acting. Replacing pen and paper, students will “write” on their own feet through image work, storytelling, and improvisation to create original work inspired by personal interests. Students develop necessary skills in ensemble work, character formation, and acting techniques.
