| Summer School
The elementary school summer learning opportunity is a school-based program offered at selected sites.
The middle school summer program is a school based intervention program offered at selected sites.
The high school summer academic program is a central site-based program and runs from Wednesday, July 9, through Thursday, August 7, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.
The high school program is based on the regular school year academic program. Courses are offered for high school students in grades 9-12 who need credit recovery, Standards of Learning (SOL) test remediation, and course acceleration. Students must meet the prerequisites to enroll in high school courses.
Transportation is provided for students who reside in Fairfax County.

Program information may change. All summer programs are contingent on school budget approvals, as well as sufficient enrollment, staffing, and space.
