Language Arts 101: Strengthening the Basics
Focus on reading and writing strategies for the GED, External Diploma Program diagnostics, jobs, and everyday situations. Topics include basic vocabulary building, pronunciation, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, writing complete sentences, reading to understand, and reading to remember. Readings relate to real-life situations, the workplace, the GED, and the External Diploma Program. Also for adult ESOL students who finish advanced ESOL classes.

Focus on reading and writing strategies for the GED, college, External Diploma Program diagnostics and jobs. Topics include extended vocabulary building, word analysis, complex sentence structures, reading content for the GED and for the workplace, test-taking skills and strategies, and writing short essays. Reading and writing relate to real-life situations, the workplace, the GED, and the External Diploma Program.

Math Topics 201: Problem-Solving for Success
Build on the basic math operations: introduction and practice of fractions, decimals, percents, ratios and proportions, pre-algebra, and geometry. Includes more advanced work in math problem-solving, as found on the GED Test, External Diploma Program assessments, in the workplace, and in everyday situations.
