Two New Ways to Prepare


Outreach Learning Labs
Learning labs are for adults who need assistance improving their skills while they are waiting for the next GED or Skill Development class to begin. Adults may remain in a learning lab for only one term without being enrolled in one of our programs or classes.

The lab also serves National External Diploma Program (EDP) clients who may attend whenever they need help with their EDP tasks. For more information, call 703-533-5466 or 703-660-2007.

Volunteer Learning Program (VLP)

The Volunteer Learning Program trains tutors, assesses learners, assists with educational planning, and provides follow-up support to adults (18 years and older) working to obtain their high School credential.

If you live in Virginia, you can access 39 online instructional programs covering the subjects and skills needed to pass the GED test. Visit GED Connection Online and sign up today.

On Demand
Free to Virginians who subscribe to On Demand cable service.

For Comcast customers
1. Choose the Get Local folder from the ON DEMAND menu.
2. Choose GED Connection.

For Cox digital cable subscribers
1. Go to Channel 1 ON DEMAND and choose Free Zone
2. Select Education from the list of options.
3. Choose GED.
