Workplace Training Team Honored with Team Excellence Award Workplace Training developed and provided the ESOL curriculum and instruction for the North County ESOL CDL bus driver training team that is being honored with the Team Excellence Award. A multi-agency effort, this 20-week training program was developed to address a critical shortage of FCPS bus drivers and to provide employment opportunities to low income members of the non-English speaking community. ACE-Workplace Training in collaboration with FCPS Transportation Services, Fairfax County Department of Human Services, The Northern Virginia Workforce Investment Board, and Grace Ministries of Floris United Methodist Church developed and carried out the pilot program. The Team Excellence Award, awarded by Fairfax County Government, recognizes the efforts of various groups and agencies that work jointly on a common project.
