Purchase Order - Companies/organizations enrolling staff for training may complete the registration form and attach a purchase order or company memo.

Registration
Use your ACE Participant ID number if you have one when completing the registration form. Only one person may register per form. Duplicate or download a Registration Form.
Confirmation
Online registrations are confirmed immediately. Other registration methods are not confirmed unless requested. Please plan to attend your first choice class unless notified otherwise by ACE staff.
Payment
Include payment with your registration. Only one ACE discount or coupon may be used per purchase.
Textbooks
If your class requires a textbook, payment is required when you register. The textbook will be delivered to you on the first night of class. See important information about foreign language textbook.

Under 18?
Adult education classes are for students 18 years and older. In some instances, exceptions may be approved. Contact our Student Services office at 703-227-2220 for information about an underage waiver. Requests require two weeks advance notice.
Kids and Teens classes contain grade level or age requirements.
Over 61?
Fairfax County residents 61 years of age or older may opt for a 40 percent tuition discount. The birth date/year must be provided on your registration form to be eligible.
County residents 61 years of age or older who suffer a financial hardship may apply for a full tuition waiver. The waiver may be used for one class per term; all textbook and user fees must be paid. To obtain an application for a waiver, contact a registration center at least two weeks prior to the start date of your class or
download an application (PDF format, 38k). Submit your registration together with the waiver application and appropriate payment.
No senior adult waivers are allowed for ESOL, online classes, or for other classes as noted.

Non-FCPS students registering for PSAT/SAT review courses, Language Mania, and Thomas Jefferson Admissions Test Prep Fall Seminar must submit additional documentation along with their completed registration form and payment:
- proof of residency (deed or lease agreement) for Fairfax County residents
- birth certificate
- any 2006-07 report card or official transcript
- for elementary school students, record of physical examination (including required screenings) completed prior to enrolling in the current elementary school or within the past 12 months
- proof of immunizations
- tuberculosis screening is required for some students

Traditional Classes: You will automatically receive a full refund when a class is already full or is canceled.
Online Classes: For classes taken online that start on a certain date, your written refund request must be received two business days prior to the class start date. For classes that start anytime, written refunds request must be received within 15 days of the enrollment date. However, refunds are not given once an individual has started the class.
Your written request must be received two business days prior to the class start date. For your convenience, you may obtain a refund request form OR send us the following information: your name, address, ACE Participant ID number (if available), phone number, and course number for which you are requesting the refund, along with the rationale for the request.

A $15 processing fee is assessed for each refund. Donations to the ACE Scholarship Fund are non-refundable. Allow at least three weeks for processing.
