Foreign Language Experience (FLEX) – Elementary Introduce your child to a foreign to a through stories, games, cultural activities, and music. Spanish, Arabic, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or American Sign Language are available options. Details.
Language Mania (Grades 4-9)
This wonderful new set of classes will help students gain exposure, confidence, and practice with a foreign language. Taking one of these classes provides a head start in second language communication. Details.
Providing practice and review of PSAT; integrates test-taking skills and strategies. SAT courses prepare students for critical reading and writing and math sections of the SAT. Details.
Open to students who will enter grade 8 in the 2008-09 school year, this program assists in the preparation for the admissions exam. Instruction focuses on mathematics and verbal reasoning, essay writing, and test-taking strategies. Program runs from 8:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Monday – Friday, July 7 – July 18 and July 21 – August 1. TJ offers the Summer Technology Institute to students who will finish the 7th or 8th grade in Spring 2008. Details.
