Driver Education Program – Grades 9-12
Registration for summer sessions is underway. Registration procedures changed on Friday, April 11 when online, mail, fax, and phone registration became available for both classroom and behind the wheel driver training. Details.


Enrichment
A variety of options exist for sharpening academic skills or for personal interest. Offerings include: Effective Study Skills; Fundamental Skills of Algebra; Introduction to Algebra 2, Geometry, or Pre-Calculus; Introductory Keyboarding; Speed Reading, and Young Writer’s Workshop (grades 6-12). Japanese OrigamiJapanese Foreign Language Camp
Middle-school students perfect their Japanese at foreign language camp.

Foreign Language Experience (FLEX) – Elementary
Introduce your child to a foreign to a through stories, games, cultural activities, and music. Spanish, Arabic, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or American Sign Language are available options. Details.

Language Mania (Grades 4-9)
This wonderful new set of classes will help students gain exposure, confidence, and practice with a foreign language. Taking one of these classes provides a head start in second language communication. Details.


PSAT/SAT Test Prep
Providing practice and review of PSAT; integrates test-taking skills and strategies. SAT courses prepare students for critical reading and writing and math sections of the SAT. Details.


Thomas Jefferson Admissions Test Prep
Open to students who will enter grade 8 in the 2008-09 school year, this program assists in the preparation for the admissions exam. Instruction focuses on mathematics and verbal reasoning, essay writing, and test-taking strategies. Program runs from 8:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Monday – Friday, July 7 – July 18 and July 21 – August 1. TJHSST Summer Technology Institute, Grades 7 and 8
TJ offers the Summer Technology Institute to students who will finish the 7th or 8th grade in Spring 2008. Details.


Non-FCPS Registration Requirements
Online registration is only available to Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) students. All non-FCPS
students must call 703-658-1201 or e-mail aceclasses@fcps.edu for registration options.

Non-FCPS students must submit additional documentation with their completed registration form and payment.
