Lessons cover vehicle control skills and driving in residential, rural, and city/freeway settings. DMV approved road test will be Driver's License Pictureadministered. Students must have completed classroom driver education or be enrolled in the classroom phase with FCPS prior to the first behind the wheel class. This course is required for licensing until the age of 19. Courses meet for seven school days and depart from most high schools.

The student's Virginia learner’s permit number is required at the time of registration. Proof of classroom enrollment must be presented at the first class.
