  1. Must have a US or US equivalent bachelor’s or higher degree from a regionally accredited college/university. VDOE approved agencies for obtaining official U.S. degree equivalency evaluation of foreign credential(s) acrobat

  2. Apply for a FCPS teaching or pupil personnel service position through Instructional Vacancies.

  3. If a principal has a position available and is interested in an interviewed candidate, he/she must submit a request to hire to the school’s employment specialist for an unofficial course-by-course evaluation of her/his credentials i.e. official transcripts to determine VA teaching or pupil personnel service license/endorsement eligibility.

  4. If found to be eligible, the principal and/or employment specialist may continue the interviewing process and/or possibly extend a job offer.

  5. If not eligible, please complete the on-line steps to obtain an official statement of VA teaching or pupil personnel service license/endorsement eligibility via sending postal mail request to the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE). acrobat
