New Endorsement – Principal of Distinction

The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE), through a grant from the Wallace Foundation, has created a new administrative endorsement entitled Principal of Distinction (POD). This endorsement is applicable only to currently employed, veteran principals who hold a valid license with endorsement in school administration and supervision K-12. In addition, the administrator must have 5 years of successful principal experience with 3 of those years in FCPS. More details on POD requirements and application process to come in early 2010.
