New Endorsement – Mathematics Specialist for ES and MS levels

Effective: September 21, 2007

For determining endorsement eligibility, please provide the following two items to support your request to add this endorsement to a VA license:

• Report on Experience Form completed by previous school principal or HR Dept. to verify at least three years of successful classroom teaching experience in which the teaching of mathematics was an important responsibility;
  AND
• College Verification form completed by accredited college/university’s Licensure Designee as well as official transcripts if employee graduated from an approved mathematics specialist preparation program (master’s level); or completed a master’s level program in mathematics or mathematics education
