  • Provisional/conditional license holders MUST submit to the Licensure Office by March 1 of first school year of employment their score sheets reflecting their passing Praxis II if applicable to teaching endorsement. Passing remaining licensure exams like VCLA and/or VRA as well as any remaining licensure requirements cited on their “Requirements to be completed” document attached to their provisional/conditional teaching license are due in the Licensure Office before March 1 of their VA provisional/conditional teaching license expiration year or March 1 of the third school year of employment in VA school division(s) whichever comes first.

  • Provisional/conditional license holders who do not meet the above requirement(s) are subject to FCPS nonrenewal/dismissal process that begins March 1 of each school year.

Please send your passing test scores with your name and FCPS ID number via pony mail or postal mail to the Licensure Office, Department of Human Resources, Gatehouse Administration Center I, 8115 Gatehouse Road, Falls Church, VA 22042.
