Fairfax County Public Schools’ new instructional employees kick off the school year by attending the Great Beginnings’ summer institute, “The Next Generation,” at Hayfield Secondary School, August 24-28, 2009.

Submit your resume online for a teaching, speech pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, or counseling position with FCPS. You will receive an e-mail confirming receipt and, if required, instructions for completing the TeacherInsight interview (required for teachers and substitute teachers).

Critical field areas for the 2009-10 school year are: family and consumer sciences, mathematics, occupational therapy, physics, special education (all areas*), speech pathology, and technology education.
*Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Retardation, Emotional Disabilities, Early Childhood Special Education

New Incentive for Speech-Language Pathologists: This 2009-10 incentive program pays up to $3,000 per year to newly hired SLPs.
