Joining the Fairfax Team is easy! Step 1: Find a job for which you are well-suited by reviewing appropriate vacancies: Step 2: Apply for a specific vacancy by following the links and instructions above. Paper applications are no longer accepted. All vacancies, including custodial or maintenance positions, require you to enter your information online. If you do not have a resume, you may find it helpful to create a resume using the Applicant Worksheet as a guide to organize your information prior to entering it online. If you do not have computer access, you can visit us at the following address, and we will help you create a CareerQuest account for entering your resume information: If you are interested in a bus driver or bus attendant position, contact the HR Client Services Center at 571-423-3000 to register for an information session. If you are interested in a food services position, please contact Food and Nutrition Services at 703-813-4845. Step 3: All applicants will receive immediate confirmation when applying for positions. First-time teachers, librarians, and substitute teachers will receive information on how to access TeacherInsight, an on-line automated interview. If you are a teacher and you have submitted your resume via Career Quest and are endorsed to teach in a subject listed on the Teacher Vacancies page, you may wish to contact the school with the vacancy.
