Ms.
Amenabar

Ms. Amenabar holds a B.A. in
International Relations from The American University and an
M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education from George Mason
University. She has been teaching in Fairfax County since
1992, first as a classroom teacher and now teaching English
for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). She also taught
English to adults in Washington, D.C., as well as to
children in Nice, France. In addition to teaching at
Crestwood, she also works at George Mason University,
training graduate students to become teachers. Her husband
comes from Chile and they speak Spanish and English in their
home. She has a son in third grade and a daughter in sixth
grade. Ms. Amenabar loves to travel, read, sing, do yoga and
spend time with her family. This is her sixth year teaching
at Crestwood and she is looking forward to another great
year!

Ms.
Eury
Ms. Eury is starting her first year at
Crestwood Elementary teaching ESOL. She taught ESOL in
Fairfax County for eight years before moving to Germany
where she taught Middle School Science for DoDDs. Ms. Eury
grew up in Virginia and graduated from a Fairfax County high
school. She earned a B.S. degree in Marketing and a master's
degree in Middle Education and Teaching English as a Second
Language. Outside of school, Ms. Eury enjoys playing the
flute and putting together her scrapbook and photo
albums.

Ms.
Rapp

Ms. Rapp is happy to be teaching ESOL at
Crestwood Elementary for her fourth year. Originally from
Springfield, Pennsylvania, she graduated from the University
of Delaware with a B.S. in Elementary Education, a minor in
Linguistics, and a concentration in English as a Second
Language. She is currently pursuing a M.Ed. in Reading at
the University of Virginia. Outside of school Ms. Rapp
enjoys films and books, and is working towards her black
belt in the martial art Tang Soo Do.

Ms.
Wilde

Ms. Wilde is starting her first year at
Crestwood Elementary. She has a B.A. in English Literature
from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and is currently
working on a M.Ed. in English as a Second Language. During
college, she spent a year in Tokyo studying Japanese and
teaching English. After years of moving around the country
and living overseas, Springfield is now home! She has a
daughter in college, a daughter in the 11th grade, and a son
in the fifth grade. Ms. Wilde loves to read newspapers
(especially The New York Times ) and books, go bike
riding or running, and spend time with her family and
friends. She is looking forward to working with Crestwood
students, teachers and parents for a successful school
year!
