Some supplies, such as pencils, highlighters, and loose leaf paper, can be shared with other classes. Students are expected to have these materials in class every day.

Students must keep every handout given in class, and they must bring their English materials with them to class every day. How they store their materials is up to them. Recommended methods include one of the following: a 3-ring binder with dividers, a 1 inch binder for English only and a larger binder to share with other classes; an accordion folder; or a folder designated for English.
