A Message from the Columbia ES Administration
Welcome to Columbia Elementary School, home of the Cougars! As part of the Annandale community, their families, and staff members are proud to call Columbia Elementary their school. We are an amazing school with many programs designed to meet the needs of all learners. Our staff maintains a great reputation for enriching the curriculum and stretching student thinking, supporting students through appropriate challenges, working as a team to make sure we all develop our skills, and partnering with parents to create the positive culture that Columbia has enjoyed for years! As an administrative team, we are committed to ensuring that your children have a safe, positive and productive school environment. We set high expectations, but we know that we need to have the supports in place to ensure that we all reach our goals. We will always work to make sure our staff is well-trained in the art and science of teaching, and that the relationships between your children and their teachers are strong and positive. We want all parents to know how much we appreciate all that you do to develop your children’s academic and social growth at home.
