Chesterbrook Elementary School has implemented a new technology called Podcasting. This will become a normal method of teaching, communicating, and promoting within the school and its community. Teachers and students alike will record audio and video, and then download the files into a computer program called iTunes. Each individual Podcast may then be saved to an iPod, MP3 player or computer. This means that once you choose to download a clip from one of CES’s Podcasts, it may be listened to, or viewed again and again -- as often as you like. Since it will already be on your computer and will not have to be downloaded each time you choose to listen or view it, it will be no different than listening to your favorite song from your computer, iPod, or even your CD/DVD player.

Instructions
1. Click this link or the above button to go to the iTunes download page on Apple.com. You will be asked if you want to download either the Mac OS X or the Windows 2000/XP version of iTunes. Select which type of computer you have and click on the Download iTunes button.

2. After the download, which could take several minutes since it is a very large file, you should have an icon on your desktop labled iTunesSetup. You will double click on this file and follow the instructions.

3. If you are on a Windows computer you may skip to step 4. For Mac OS X users, you need to click this link and download and install Quicktime.

4. After you have succesfully installed iTunes, you may click on one of the Podcast links above and that Podcast category will be automatically added to iTunes. Every time you login to iTunes, it will check for new CES podcasts automatically.

5. Enjoy - and tell all your relatives and friends around the world about our podcasts!
