Sixth grade operates by using a middle school schedule. Students from each homeroom are regrouped for each content area class. We have 3 sixty-minutes periods a day for content area classes, and 1 ninety-minute period a day for language arts classes.

Ms. Carol Foss teaches Math. Mr. McCarthy teaches Science/Health. Mrs. Steffey teaches Social Studies. Language Arts is taught by homeroom teachers.

Sixth Graders will enjoy some special events this year.  In December, we will have our Winter Holiday Party.  In February, we will have our annual Academic Super Bowl competition between period classes.  In March, students will take a field trip to the National Portrait Gallery.  In May, we will enjoy our "all day" trip to Pamplin Civil War Park, southwest of Richmond.  Detailed information about each date will be posted on Blackboard.
