Chantilly High School’s ultimate goal is to provide a comprehensive student activities program that will adhere to the needs of the school and community. The variety of student activities provide for a wide range of student interests and are formulated to improve the self-respect and self esteem of all of its members. Chantilly High School has developed a student activities program to accommodate the diversity of the student body. The willingness to allow new ideas and activities enables students to provide for their needs and interests. Chantilly High School believes one of its major roles is to provide more than a high academic setting. The student activity program provides students with the necessary outlets that enable them to become well-rounded students in our society.

The student activities program at Chantilly High School provides strong extracurricular and co-curricular activities that allow students to learn to balance academic and extracurricular responsibilities through participation in athletics, clubs, fine arts and social events. As an extension of the educational process, the activities program provides opportunities for intellectual, emotional, ethical, aesthetic, physical, and social growth.

The office of student activities is directly responsible for all clubs, athletic teams, and other student functions. The director and assistant directors of student activities supervise over seventy different student related functions, clubs, and athletic teams. Each activity has a faculty sponsor or a county approved sponsor. The variety and scope of the program allows students to participate in organizations that appeal to their interests, talents, and needs.
