Pharmacy Technician Course Description

High School Credits: 2 Prerequsites: None This course includes both classroom and clinical pharmacy work based learning experiences. Course curriculum enables students to acquire the knowledge and technical skills required to earn two professional certifications; Certified Pharmacy Technician from the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board and the Virginia Board of Pharmacy. Students must take both Pharmacy Technician 1 (fall semester) and Pharmacy Technician 2 (spring semester).
