Course Description - This two-year course of study enables students to develop skills leading to careers in the construction industry and/or postsecondary education. Students learn the principles and technologies of residential and light commercial construction. The program emphasizes layout, construction materials, construction methods, cost estimation, project management, and construction safety. In addition, students develop leadership skills and compete in the Skills USA program.
