CVHS PTSA meetings are open to any member of the CVHS Community. To learn more about CVHS PTSA sign up for the Wildcat Weekly. To volunteer to help, visit http://cvhsptsa.org/volunteer.shtml. A list of PTSA meetings can be found at the PTSA Website. Meetings are usually held on the thrid Tuesday of most months, starting 7 PM and held in the CVHS Media Center.

Participants set up individualized profiles and receive the most up-to-date information as soon as it is available. Family Connection is a web-based service designed especially for high school students and their parents. Family Connection is a comprehensive website that helps students as they make decisions about academic plans, colleges, and careers. Family connection is linked with Counselor's Office, a service used in FCPS school counseling offices to trank and analyze data about college and career plans, so it provides up-to-date information that is specific to each student's school. The Center for Parent Services promotes parent awareness of the services provided by Fairfax County Public Schools for children with special needs and their families. CVHS has a Korean liaison and a Spanish liaison. The Korean liaison is Soo-Min Ok. Her contact information is sok@fcps.edu and 703-802-5459. Soo-Min is in the building on Mondays (7:30 - 11:30 AM), Thursdays (7:30 11:30 AM), and Fridays (7:30 - 10:30 AM). The Spanish liaison is Magaly Rivas Wyatt. Three regional ESOL Parent Meetings are being held this fall: October 10 at Hayfield SS, October 22 at Chantilly HS, and November 13 at Woodson HS. All three events are from 5:30 – 9:00 p.m. The ESOL parent meetings are part of an ongoing effort by Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) to enhance family-school connections with language minority families. These events will provide parents with information about ESOL services, the new elementary progress report, advanced academic offerings, preparing for college and career, and ways in which they can support their children’s education.
