Financial Aid Night-Dec. 2nd!
Seniors and their families are invited to our annual Financial Aid Night on Dec. 2nd (snow date Dec.8th). The program will begin at 7 pm in the the
CVHS auditroium and will include information on the FAFSA(Free Application for Federal Student Aid) process along with information on the the CSS Profile, loan programs and scholarship searches.
Sophomore Night -Dec. 10th
“Planning for College” , a program for sophomores and their parents, will be presented on Thursday, Dec. 10th at 7 pm. in the Auditorium. This program is a great introduction to the college application process and will include such topics as factors that influence admissions decisions,what to look for in a campus visit and how to prepare to apply to college.
College Information Sessions
For an updated list of colleges representative information sessions, click here. To attend a session, juniors and seniors must obtain a pass from the Career Center no later than 24 hours before a session in order to attend Passes must be signed by your classroom teacher.

Financial Aid
Filing your FAFSA online has become easier than ever. Seniors and their families should be getting ready to submit the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).(www.fafsa.ed.gov). It is very important that you check the financial aid websites for the colleges you have applied to determine their deadline for filing the FAFSA form. Not sure if you should complete a FAFSA form? Summer Opportunities
Looking for information about summer programs offered by camps, schools, colleges, and universities both nationwide and abroad? Students and parents can search by interest area, location, program name, or by using a keyword by going to: http://www.fcps.edu/suptapps/summeropportunities/ProgramSearch.cfm. A link to each program is provided for more information. Offerings include enrichment opportunities in academic areas as well as college planning, volunteer opportunities and other special interests.
