All FCPS high school students and their families are encouraged to attend the 2012 College Fair at Fair Oaks Mall, Sunday, October 21, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. (Note: One free ticket per family is required for admission.) The fair provides opportunities for college-bound students and their parents to gather information from a variety of schools. Approximately 400 colleges and universities are represented, including two-year and four-year colleges; military academies; and business, technical, and nursing schools. Students are encouraged to register for these events at http://www.fcpscollegefairs.com in order to receive a personal admittance pass. This pass will eliminate the need for students to complete information cards for the college representatives the night of the events and will allow for more discussion time between representatives and students.

On Monday, October 22nd, College Night will be held at Hayfield HS from 7-9 pm. Workshops on a variety of topics dealing with the college application process are held at College Night in addition to a College Fair.
