Here are a few things to remember during the school year. The Fairfax County Program of Studies for Physical Education requires all students to wear athletic shoes that fit properly. Dress shoes, snow boots, hiking boots, sandals, or any shoe with a heel are not appropriate for P.E. days. Dresses and skirts are not recommended. If they are necessary for another school function try to wear shorts underneath. Jewelry should not be worn during P.E. class. We will ask students to remove the jewelry during class. Students are then responsible for remembering to retrieve it at the end of class. The P.E. teachers are not responsible for lost or stolen jewelry. Students not dressed properly will be given an alternate activity.

Injury or Illness: Students who are not able to participate need to bring a note from a parent or guardian. The note should include the duration and the reason for not participating. A doctor's note is required if the injury or illness lasts longer than 3 days.

Thank you for your help in having a safe and productive year.
