School Counselors Mission Statement The mission of the Centreville Elementary School’s comprehensive and developmental school guidance program is, in collaboration with students, parents and staff, to enhance each student’s ability to acquire knowledge, attitudes and skills in the academic, career and personal/social domains and to become positive contributing members of our diverse society. Our goal is to create a supportive environment for all students and encourage them to learn how to help themselves in becoming independent thinkers, learners and problem-solvers and to maximize their potential. We believe… All students have individual abilities and are capable of learning with support from family, community and educators. All students have the right to be treated with dignity and respect and learn in a safe, supportive environment.
