Dear Centre Ridge Families,
Wow! The first month of school is behind us and it is hard to believe that it is October already. Hope your family was able to come to the PTA sponsored Community Day/Yard Sale. Lots of fun was had by everyone!

Starting a new fall tradition at CRES...the PTA is asking families to donate ALREADY decorated pumpkins (no carving) to decorate the front lobby during the Harvest/Fall season. Don't forget to label your families' name with your pumpkin donation. Please start delivering your pumpkins Wednesday, October 10th under the clock in the front lobby.

The Reynolds family did some small fun family trips this past month...We went to the Fall of Fairfax (lots of family fun things to do and see) and we went back to Virginia Beach, VA. Just because school is in doesn't mean it's not warm enough to enjoy the fun in the sun! There were still lots of fun things to be done, less crowded, and the best part being the cost is lots less!

Some other things that are close to our area that would make good family fun is Cox Farm in Centreville, VA, Winterbrooks Farm's Moonlight Maze in Thurmont, MD, Crumland Farms Corn Maze in Frederick, MD.
