Spring 2009

SOL Testing Procedures

Testing Times:
AM Session 1: 8:15
AM Session 2: 8:30

            PM Session 1: 11:30
PM Session 2: 11:45

            Individualized Testing: AM Session: 8:00am  PM Session: 11:15am

Locations:
AM/PM Session 1: Computer Lab
AM/PM Session 2: Library

            Individualized Testing: Front Office Conference Room; Clinical Conference Room and other areas TBD (as needed)

Student Procedures:

• When students enter the testing rooms, they must place all backpacks, purses, away from their computer/laptop station.
• All cell-phones, I-POD’s, MP-3’s, Nintendo DS, and any other communication devices MUST turned OFF and placed either in their backpacks. If the student has no bag, there is a crate where these items can be securely placed until the completion of their SOL.
• If students need to take a break from the test, get water, use the bathroom, they must be accompanied by an adult AT ALL TIMES.
• If students are testing and are not finished by lunch, the student MAY eat lunch, BUT must do so in a secure location (ie. Library with a test proctor); they cannot be unaccompanied during the lunch period under ANY circumstances
• Please make sure that students sign their test tickets when they have completed their tests.
• Students must report to their regularly scheduled class once testing has been completed; PLEASE make sure to write a pass; passes will be provided in the testing notebooks that are in the testing sites.
