PBS/Cedar Bucks

A living Cedar Buck!

Our incentive plan was developed around the use of one type of “currency”. We call this currency Cedar Bucks! Staff acknowledge individual students that demonstrate appropriate behaviors by giving them a “Cedar Buck”. The Cedar Buck has specific behaviors listed on its backside so that staff can indicate the specific way that the student demonstrated respect, responsibility, and/or positive attitude. Students can use their Cedar Bucks to purchase items at the Cedar Store including snacks and school supplies, tickets to events and activities, as well as in-class privileges. Cedar Bucks replace all other rewards and standardize the rewards given at Cedar. It works!
