Welcome to Cardinal Forest Elementary School! Cardinal Forests 600+ students, kindergarten through grade 6, live in the Springfield communities. In grades seven through eigth, students attend Washington Irving Middle School. Students entering grades nine through twelve attend neighboring West Springfield High School.

As an elementary school, reading, writing, science, and mathematics serve as the foundation of the school program. Built in 1962 and renovated in 1999, Cardinal Forest students use classroom computers, a computer lab, SmartBoard interactive devices, and mobile labs to enhance their learning. Cardinal Forest offers full-day kindergarten and an afterschool programs through SACC or School Aged Child Care. Cardinal Forest reflects the enthusiastic commitment to life-long learning shared by students and staff.
