Mission Statement

The Goal of the Cued Speech Program at Canterbury Woods Elementary School is student achievement in literacy, communication skills, and independence. The staff, in cooperation with parents, is dedicated to providing comprehensive language-based instruction which addresses individual student needs while meeting the high educational goals of Fairfax County Public Schools. There are high expectations for all students to develop effective English communication skills as productive, active members of the school community.
