Richmond,Virginia's state capitol,
was not always the capitol. It used to be Williamsburg. During the Civil
War, Richmond was also the capitol of the Confederacy and was burnt to
the ground. During the Reconstruction Period (1865-1870), it was rebuilt.
Richmond now has great museums and many activities. It has great restaurants.
You can go to watch movies and sport games. Richmond has many beautiful
places. It is a great place to visit!
