Pocahontas is mostly famous for
her saving Captain John Smith. Some people have begun to really doubt that
it was true. It might have been just an indian ritual to adopt him, since
Chief Powhatan, Pocahontas' father, liked him. She also had several names.
One day, some natives traded her for a copper kettle. After that, John
Rolfe married her, and she was baptized, becoming a Christian. She had
wanted to be buried in her native land, but at the age of 20, she died
of small pox in England and was buried there.
