Civil War Re-enactment
Men portraying
soldiers re-enact the Civil War Battle of Cedar Ridge as part of the Madison
County Covered Bridge Festival. Winterset, Iowa, USA.
A re-enactment is people acting out something that has
already happened. They dressed up in this re-enactment as Civil War soldiers.
They used guns that fired gun powder instead of bullets. No one died in
the re-enactment, but many people died in the real Civil War.
